My research focuses on the quantitative characterization of physical mechanisms underlying molecular recognition between biomolecules. This aspect is investigated by analyzing the structural and dynamic features of biomolecules. The findings in this field are meant to allow the development of predictive algorithms regarding elements of relevant biomedical importance, such as protein engineering or biological macromolecules binding site identification.
