Camilla Gallina holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Padua and a Master’s degree with honors from the Politecnico di Torino, with a thesis titled “Biomechanical analysis of Para-standing Tennis and classification criteria.”
The study investigated the relationship between functional impairments and performance in Para-standing Tennis, combining video analysis and laboratory-based movement assessment. The results identified biomechanical indicators that may support the development of an evidence-based classification system for fair competition among athletes with different impairments.
